About the role

We are looking for a Web QA Automation Engineer with a strong technical background, capable of designing, developing, and maintaining reliable automated tests, understanding that automation is a tool to reduce risk and accelerate delivery, not an end in itself.

Responsabilities:

• Design and develop automated tests for critical product workflows.

• Automate validations of business logic and key rules.

• Orchestrate scenarios that span frontend, backend, and external services.

• Maintain and refactor existing automation suites.

• Analyze real failures vs. false positives.

• Collaborate with functional QA and developers to improve system testability.

• Provide technical judgment on where automation adds real value.

Requirements:

• Experience testing web applications with a React frontend and Node.js backend.

• Automation of validations for complex business rules.

• REST API testing (requests, responses, contracts).

• Ability to orchestrate scenarios involving multiple services.

• Integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient use of Git and version control.

• Ability to analyze functional and technical failures in automated workflows.

• Critical thinking and strong functional criteria.

• Clear and direct communication based on data and facts.

• Self-driven/Autonomous: Ability to work independently with high ownership.

• Preventive mindset: Focused on user experience and business impact.
