About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer specializing in mobile applications, with real experience testing products on Android and iOS, capable of validating critical flows from the end user's perspective, detecting platform-specific issues, and anticipating risks in an ever-changing product environment.

Responsabilities:

• Analyze user stories with a strong focus on the mobile user experience (UX).

• Identify platform-specific risks prior to the development phase.

• Execute deep functional testing on both Android and iOS devices.

• Validate integrations between the mobile app and backend services (APIs).

• Detect regressions and inconsistent behaviors across different app versions.

• Report bugs providing clear context, business impact, and evidence.

• Serve as a functional reference for other QAs within the squad.

• Collaborate with Product and Mobile Development teams to enhance quality and usability.

Requirements:

• Advanced functional testing for mobile applications (Android & iOS).

• Risk-based testing strategy design.

• Creation and maintenance of efficient mobile regression suites.

• Validation of complex business rules and critical user flows.

• API Testing (Postman or similar) with API contract analysis capabilities.

• Log analysis and troubleshooting (Requests/Responses) for functional and technical diagnostics.

• Cross-squad impact assessment and systemic regression analysis.

• Intermediate SQL proficiency.

• Critical thinking and strong functional criteria.

• Clear and direct communication based on data and facts.

• Self-driven/Autonomous: Ability to work independently with high ownership.

• Preventive mindset: Focused on user experience and business impact.
